REVUE DES QUESTIONS SCIENTIFIQUES. – Quarterly journal, established at Lovanio in 1877 under the auspices of the «Société scientifique de Bruxelles», founded in 1875 to promote the study of the mathematical, physical, natural, medical, and economic sciences and to demonstrate their harmony with the teachings of Christian philosophy and revealed religion.
All the sciences are represented in it; and among the questions treated with particular care are those in which the struggle between unbelief and faith is engaged. Each issue, in addition to articles on modern subjects treated at greater length, contains scientific miscellanies, critical reviews of works, and a survey of periodicals in which recent scientific discoveries are summarized.
