REVUE THOMISTE. – A doctrinal journal of Thomist theology and philosophy, founded in Paris in 1893 through the work of the Dominican Fr. Tommaso Coconnier.
Its purpose is not only to expound and defend, in language accessible to our own time, the doctrines of St. Thomas, but also to bring ecclesiastical scholarship into contact with the modern sciences, taking advantage of the marvellous new discoveries and the broad developments of recent theories, in order to shed new light on speculation and contribute to the great Catholic synthesis of human knowledge.
