RODOLFO de LANGO (LONGO) CAMPO. - Philosopher, author of a still-unpublished commentary on Alano di Lilla (v.), composed presumably around 1216, while R. was teaching in Montpellier, and certainly before 1225.
This commentary is important as a document demonstrating the penetration of Aristotelianism into the Latin West at the beginning of the 13th century and the influence exerted by the School of Chartres, especially by its last representative, Guglielmo.
