« SALUTIS HUMANAE SATOR ». – Hymn of Vespers and Lauds in the Office of the Ascension.
Originally « Jesu, nostra redemptio », by an unknown author, it appears in manuscripts from the first half of the ninth century. The text was subsequently transformed and reduced to its present form.
The poet accompanies Jesus who, having completed the work of redemption, returns to heaven.
