SALUTIS AETERNAE DATOR. - Hymn of Lauds in the Office of the feast of All Saints, by an unknown author; it appears in manuscripts of the 9th century.

It consists of a series of invocations of litanic inspiration to Christ, to the Virgin, to the Angels, to the Apostles, to the Patriarchs, to the Prophets, to St. John the Baptist, to St. Peter, to the martyrs, to the confessors, to the virgins; finally a prayer to all the blessed possessors of the heavenly kingdom that they may strengthen our prayers.
