SUMMAE DEUS CLEMENTIAE. - Hymn of Lauds for the feast of the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary on 15 September, by an unknown author.

The author addresses the Eternal Father, asking him to grant men the ability to meditate upon the wounds of Jesus and the sorrows of the Virgin, whose tears cooperated in washing the world clean of all sins.
