UMILI FIGLIE DEL MONTE CALVARIO (NORMAL CATHOLIC INSTITUTE). — Founded in Paris in 1866 by Adelina Edefr.
On June 6, 1893, they received the decree of praise from the Holy See, and on June 21, 1900, the Institute was approved along with its Constitutions, which received definitive approval on January 18, 1920. The sisters dedicate themselves to teaching and run schools of every level. They number 137 with 12 houses. The motherhouse is in Paris. (Arch. of the Sacred Congregation of Religious, P. 45).
