UNION OF SAINT CATHERINE OF SIENA OF THE MISSIONARIES OF THE SCHOOL. — Founded at Gubbio in 1924 by Luigia Tincani (Sister Maria of S. Caterina).
They received the decree of praise from the Holy See on 6 February 1934. The Constitutions were approved on an experimental basis on 7 February 1935. The religious, who do not wear a religious habit, devote themselves to teaching in public schools and have boarding schools for the education of young women. At present there are 150 sisters in 9 houses. The motherhouse is in Rome. (Arch. d. S. Congr. di Relig., G. 70).
