ZOSIMAS. – Ascetic of the 6th century, founder of a monastery near Caesarea in Palestine (Evagrius, Hist. ecc., IV, 7) cited by Dorotheus in his Diversae doctrinae. Some conferences of Z. were transmitted by one of his disciples (PG 78, 1679-1702).
