ADAMI, ANNIBALE. – Jesuit, b. in Fermo on 13 February 1626, d. in Rome on 16 July 1706 or 1707. A devoted professor of humanities and rhetoric, he left several historical works and translations.
Among these: Seminarii Romani Pallas purpurata (Rome, 1659), biographies of 31 cardinals who emerged from the Collegio Romano; La spada d'Orione stellata nel cielo di Morte cioè il valor militare de' più celebri guerrieri de' nostri secoli (Rome, 1680).
