ADAMO of AROGNO. – Architect active in the first decades of the 13th century. He is mentioned in documents as overseer of the construction of the Trento cathedral. While remaining fully within the Lombard-Romanesque tradition, he is influenced by Gothic forms which he adopts and assimilates. Also attributed to him are the portal with stylophore lions of S. Apollinare in Trento and that of the parish church of Bolzano.
