ALBERTI, GIUSEPPE. — Painter and architect, born in Cavalese in Val di Fiemme on 3 October 1640 and died there on 3 February 1716. He carried out his activity mainly in Trento, where he initiated the local school of painting. In the Cathedral he built the chapel of the Crucifix in 1682. His paintings are found not only in Trento but also in S. Michele all'Adige and Cavalese.
