ANGELO CELSUS (celsi). — Roman nobleman, b. 1600, d. 6 Nov. 1671. Doctor *in utroque iure*, he was appointed auditor of the Sacred Roman Rota in 1643 and cardinal in 1664. He held various offices, including the prefecture of the Sacred Congregation of the Council. He left a collection of *Decisiones S. Rotae Romanae* (Rome 1673).
