CONGREGATION OF THE PRIESTS OF THE SCHOOLS OF CHARITY. – It was founded in Venice in 1802 by the priest brothers Marcantonio and Antonio Angelo Crvanis (v.) to ensure the continuation of the school they had established a few years earlier and which was recognized in 1812 by the government of the Kingdom of Italy.
In this school, free of charge for all, young people are educated through a teaching method based on paternal familiarity and mutual trust. The young are prepared for life through profound Christian instruction and the constant practice of the Sacraments. Approved by the Holy See in 1836, the Congregation currently has 3 houses with approximately 70 religious.
