CONGREGATION OF THE HEARTS OF JESUS AND MARY. — It originated in Lanciano, in Abruzzo,
in 1880, at the initiative of Rev. Lorenzo Lisio and Maria Domenica Rosati, for the care of the sick in hospitals and at home, assistance to female prisoners, and the education and instruction of young women. It has a few houses in Abruzzo and one in Rome.
