ELISAPHAN. – 1. A Levite, son of Oziel, head of the family of the Caathites (Num. 3:30) at the time of the census of the people of Israel around Sinai. The descendants of his family are still mentioned in the time of David and Hezekiah (I Par. 15:8; II Par. 29:13).
