ENRICO da BOLZANO (di TREVISO), blessed. — Asceia, born in Bolzano, died in Treviso at a very advanced age on 10 June 1315. Still an adolescent, in order to escape the harassment of the heretics, he moved to Treviso, where he took up residence and spent his entire life in humility, manual labor, prayer, and penance—a life that God illumined with many wonders. Benedict XIV confirmed his cult ab immemorabili, and Pius VII extended it to the entire diocese of Treviso. Feast day: 10 June.
