ENRICO da BOLZANO (of TREVISO), Blessed. — Ascetic, born in Bolzano, died in Treviso where he had spent much of his life on 10 June 1315. As a young man, to escape the harassment of heretics, he moved to Treviso, where he took up residence and spent his entire life in humility, manual labor, prayer, and penance, a life which God adorned with many miracles. Benedict XIV confirmed his cult as immemorial, and Pius VII extended it to the entire diocese of Treviso. Feast day: 10 June.
