ÉTUDES FRANCISCAINES. – Journal founded in 1899 and directed by the Capuchin Friars Minor of the province of Paris, with the collaboration of other writers.
It publishes articles concerning Franciscan history and doctrine, as well as the various ecclesiastical disciplines, together with bibliographical bulletins, chronicles, and reviews. Monthly from 1899 to 1914 (32 vols.); suspended on account of the world war (1915–20); quarterly from 1921 to 1922 (vols. 33–34); bimonthly from 1923 to 1939 (vols. 35–51); suspended because of printing difficulties following the last war, it has not yet resumed publication.
