ÉTUDES FRANCISCAINES. - Journal founded in 1899 and directed by the Capuchin Friars Minor of the province of Paris, with the collaboration of other writers.

It publishes articles concerning Franciscan history and doctrine and also the various ecclesiastical disciplines, with bibliographical bulletins, chronicles, reviews. Monthly from 1899 to 1914 (32 vols.); suspended because of the world war (1915-20); quarterly from 1921 to 1922 (vols. 33-34); bimonthly from 1923 to 1939 (vols. 35-51); suspended because of typographical difficulties following the last war, it has not yet resumed publication. General indexes 1899-1908, Paris 1909; 1909-28, ibid. 1932.
