ESTUDIOS FRANCISCANOS. - A journal founded in 1907 by the Capuchin Friars Minor of the Province of Catalonia to defend and illuminate Catholic scholarship and to promote the history and doctrine of Franciscanism.

Published monthly in Spanish from 1907 to 1922 (29 volumes); from 1923, volume 30, in Catalan (*Estudis Franciscans*) as an expression of regional culture, with an international scope through articles in other languages; from 1927 to 1936, volumes 39–43, quarterly; suspended after 1936 due to the Marxist revolution; resumed in 1948 (Barcelona-Sarrià) in Spanish, as a quarterly, under the direction of the Capuchin Friars Minor of Spain and America.
