FELDMANN, Joseph. — German philosopher, priest, b. at Olpe (Meschede) on 23 Feb. 1878, d. at Paderborn on 29 July 1927. He earned degrees in philosophy and theology in Rome. From 1917 he taught philosophy at the Paderborn Seminary.
In addition to his assiduous collaboration with the journals Theologiae und Glaubensphilosophie der Lesestoffe, he wrote: *Paradis und Sundenfall* (Münster in V. 1913); *Thomas von Aquin und die Philosophie der Gegenwart* (Paderborn 1924); *Schule der Philosophie* (ibid. 1925); *Praktische Wirken für den Philosophieunterricht an den höheren Schulen* (ibid. 1926); *Okkultie Philosophie* (ibid. 1927); noteworthy and anticipatory were the articles on the same subject published in *Theol. u. Glaube* in 1925.
