Daughters of Charity of the Most Precious Blood

FIGLIE DELLA CARITÀ DEL PREZIOSISSIMO SANGUE. – Institute founded by canon Tommaso Maria Fusco at Pagani (Salerno) in 1872. Its purpose is the education of children and young people in nursery schools, schools, and orphanages, and the care of the sick and disabled. Approved by the Holy See in 1921, it has approximately 500 religious sisters in 50 houses, all in Italy.
