FIGLIE DI BETHLEM. – Religious congregation founded in Milan in 1864 by Virginia Besozzi to receive and educate poor girls. Approved by the Holy See and spread throughout Lombardy and other regions of Italy, the Congregation now has 50 houses with more than 300 religious women.
