GUGLIELMO di VORILLON (VORILLONG, FORLEON, VALLE RULLONIS). – French Scotist of the 15th century, born at Vorillon in the Costa del Nord, died in Rome around 1464. A Franciscan religious at Dinant, in 1429 he was teaching in Paris as a bachelor in the Sentences.

In 1462, when the question «de sanguine Christi» was being debated in Rome in the presence of Pope Pio II, he was invited to take part in the discussion. His principal work is the Super quattuor Lib. Senten. iuxta doctrinam s. Bonaventurae et Scoti, a commentary completed in 1429–30 and published several times (Lyon 1484, 1495, 1499; Paris 1503; Venice 1496, 1519). To this may be added the Repertorium seu vademecum vel collectionarium opinionum in Scoto nullatenus signatarum ex quattuor Lib. Senten. (Padua 1842–47), which is likewise of great importance for textual criticism.
