ISÒ' BÒKT. — Nestorian metropolitan of Rêwardâšir (Persia), who lived in the 8th century.

He is the author of an important juridical work in six books on ecclesiastical canons. The work was originally composed in Persian and later translated into Syriac by the katholikós Timothy I (edition and German translation by E. Sachau, *Syrische Rechtsbücher*, III, Berlin 1910, pp. 1–201). I. also left behind works of a philosophical and liturgical nature.
