Giacomo Lambardi. Quietist, born in Bevagna, lived in the 17th century. He was already censured by the Holy Office of Perugia in 1642.
Called by Cardinal Bichi, Bishop of Osimo, to establish an oratory in that city, he was later imprisoned by the Holy Office for his persistent quietism. He had created a very flourishing "conventicle" of quietist followers, who were forced to abjure their heretical ideas between June 29 and July 7, 1675. L. died at home (1673) where he had been allowed to return due to poor health. His works were condemned after his death (decree of March 28, 1675).
