Lux Alma Iesu Mentium

"LUX ALMA IESU MENTIUM." - Hymn of Lauds for the feast of the Transfiguration; taken from the Jubilus rhythmicus de Nomine Iesu of the first half of the 13th century, by an unknown author, falsely attributed to St. Bernard (v. IESU DECUS ANGELICUM).

On Tabor Jesus revealed to the three Apostles who had followed him there his divinity, and his face shone like the sun. May this divine light inspire sentiments of trust in asking Jesus to enlighten minds, dispel darkness, and instill charity and sweetness.
