MALCO, Saint. — He is commemorated in the Roman Martyrology on 21 October, but his true *dies natalis* is unknown; it does not seem that he had any cult in antiquity. Around 390 St Jerome wrote his biography. M., an only son of a colonist from Nisibi, fled from home to avoid marriage and took refuge in the hermitage of Chalcis near Aleppo.
They are found in the National Museum of Cracow, and before the 1939 war they were scattered in collections in Poland.
