There exists a Passio composed in the 5th century, but it is certainly a reworking of an older one that must have concerned only M. and D.
The present redaction comes from a Donatist milieu and S. was added because she was perhaps commemorated on the same day as the first two. During the persecution of Diocletian, the proconsul Anulino appeared in the possessio Cephalitana near Thuburbo and issued the edict to sacrifice. The entire population, terrified, apostatized en masse except for two young girls, M. and D., who were therefore arrested. Led into the city and persisting in their faith, they were condemned to beheading. While they were being led to execution, S., driven by a desire for martyrdom, in a burst of faith threw herself from a window and died.
