MICHAEL OF THE MOST HOLY TRINITY. - Discalced Carmelite, born in 1588 at Beaz (Andalusia), died there in 1661.
He was first a reader in theology at the Colleges of Ecija and Bacca, then professor of philosophy at the famous College of Alcalá de Henares (Lat. Complutum), where, together with Fr. Anthony of the Mother of God, he published the famous *Cursus Complutensis philosophiae* (v. COMPLUTENSES). The first volume of this work, *Disputationes in Aristotelis Dialecticam et philosophiam naturalem iuxta d. Thomae doctrinam*, was authored by Fr. Michael (1st ed., Alcalá 1624). He also wrote: *Commentaria in libros Physicorum et de Anima* (unpublished).
