MICHELE della SANTISSIMA TRINITÀ. – Discalced Carmelite, born in 1588 at Beaz (Andalusia), died there in 1661.
He was first a lecturer in theology at the Colleges of Ecija and Bacca, then professor of philosophy at the renowned College of Alcalá de Henares (lat. Complutum), where, together with Fr. Antonio della Madre di Dio, he published the famous Cursus Complutensis philosophiae (v. COMPLUTENSES). Volume I is by Fr. M.: Disputaciones in Aristotelis Dialecticam et philosophiam naturalem laxta d. Thomae doctrinam (1st ed., Alcalá 1624). He also wrote: Commentaria in libros Physicorum et de Anima (unpublished).
