MONITA AD MISSIONARIOS. – The Sacred Congregation of Propaganda Fide gave the first apostolic vicars of the Paris Seminary certain Instructiones, which underwent many modifications and revisions.
They were first published in Rome in 1669 and subsequently in 1744, 1782, and 1807. In the end, Propaganda simplified the title and published them in 1840: M. ad m. S. Congregationis de Propaganda Fide (Rome 1840). New editions appeared in 1853, 1874, 1886, and 1893, and in Hong Kong in 1919 and 1930. A French translation was published in Brussels in 1921 and then in Louvain in 1928.
