PERIODICA DE RE MORALI CANONICA LITURGICA. - A quarterly journal published by professors of the Pontifical Gregorian University.

It originated from a periodical publication begun in the year 1901 in Belgium by Fr. Arthur Vermeersch under the title De religiosis institutis et personis supplementa et monumenta periodica, intended for religious and missionaries as a constant updating of the treatise De religiosis by the same Fr. Vermeersch. Through various transformations, and having moved its seat to Rome, it became in 1927 the present journal of moral theology, canon law and liturgy, which, besides publishing articles of a scholarly and practical character on various questions and providing appropriate bibliographical indications, has constantly reproduced in full the most important documents issued by the Holy See, accompanying them with precise explanatory notes, and in summary the content of all the other pontifical documents of lesser importance, which confers a particular value on the complete set of the journal's volumes.
