PERIODICALS ON MORAL, CANONICAL, AND LITURGICAL MATTERS. - Quarterly review published by professors of the Pontifical Gregorian University.
It originated from a periodical begun in 1901 in Belgium by Fr. Arturo Vermeersch under the title *De religiosis institutis et personis supplementa et monumenta periodica*, intended for religious and missionaries as a constant update to his treatise *De religiosis*. Through various transformations and a move of its headquarters to Rome, it became in 1927 the current journal of moral theology, canon law, and liturgy. In addition to publishing scholarly and practical articles on various issues and providing appropriate bibliographical guidance, it has consistently published in full the most important documents issued by the Holy See, accompanied by precise explanatory notes, and summarized the content of all other papal documents of lesser importance. This gives the entire run of the journal particular value.
