It is the female branch for the education of deaf-mute women, parallel to the male branch founded by the same in 1890 for deaf-mutes, under the name of “Little Mission for the Deaf-Mute.” It obtained the decree of praise on 10 July 1913 and today counts eight houses, all in Italy (cf.
