**POULPIQUET, AMBROISE de.** - Dominican apologist, b. at Lesmel in Plouguerneau (Finistère) on 25 June 1878, d. at Brest on 22 Apr. 1915. He entered the religious life in 1896, was ordained priest in 1902, and taught apologetics at the Theological College of Le Saulchoir from 1906 to 1914.
