REVUE DES SCIENCES RELIGIEUSES

REVUE DES SCIENCES RELIGIEUSES. - Quarterly periodical published and for the most part edited by the professors of the Faculty of Theology at Strasbourg, founded in 1921 with the intention of replacing the Bulletin d'ancienne littérature et d'archéologie chrétienne, which had been suspended during the First World War, but in fact established with a different orientation.

After being interrupted following no. 20 (1940) because of the war, the journal reappeared in 1947, publishing in that year’s volume an index of all previous years. With no. 22 (1948) it resumed its regular sections: original articles, unpublished documents, chronicles, notes and communications, and bibliographic reports. In addition to questions of positive theology, it addresses topics in philosophy, history of religions, dogmatic theology, pastoral theology and moral theology, canon law, liturgy, and exegesis.
