He wrote an Exposition mystica in Parabolas Salomonis (PL 53, 967-94) and in Ecclesiastem (ibid. 993-1012) in the form of a dialogue with his brother. Together with the bishop Cerealius of Grenoble, the two brothers wrote a letter to Pope Leo I concerning his dogmatic Epistle (cf. Leo M., Ep. 68: PL 54, 887-90).
