He served as Superior of several houses of his Order and as a Lenten preacher. He published *De ecclesiastica hymnotia libri tres* (Bologna 1629), on the nobility, effects, and proper manner of singing the Divine Office in choir, which went through three Latin editions and an Italian translation (Milan 1643); and *Esercizi di piedi meditazioni per rinnovazione dello spirito*, exercises and meditations for spiritual renewal to be undertaken during the annual retreat practiced by the Barnabites (Milan 1635). His *De Clericorum Regg. S. Pauli congregatione et parentibus synopsis* (Milan 1682), edited posthumously by Fr. Maggi, appeared after his death; it is of primary importance in the historiography of the Order and was later used in the canonization process of the founder, St. Anthony Mary Zaccaria.
