"SIC PATRES VITAM PERAGUNT IN UMBRA." - Hymn of Lauds on the feast of the Seven Holy Founders of the Servants of Mary, a continuation of the other one of Matins: Bella dum late... Its author was Father Galletti of the same Order, and it was revised by Leo XIII.

The poet extols the deeds of the seven noble Florentines who in solitude steel themselves for the struggles they will wage after having attained a high perfection.
