« SIC PATRES VITAM PERAGUNT IN UMBRA ». — Hymn of Lauds for the feast of the Seven Holy Founders of the Servants of Mary, continuation of the other hymn at Matins: Bella dum late... Its author was Fr. Galletti of the same Order, and it was revised by Leo XIII.
The poet exalts the deeds of the seven Florentine nobles who, in solitude, steel themselves for the struggles they will undertake after attaining a high degree of perfection.
