1 The Catholic faith, etc. There follow the articles of John Wycliffe. 1. The substance of material bread, and likewise the substance of material wine remain in the sacrament of the altar. 2. The accidents of bread do not remain without a subject in the same sacrament. 3. Christ is not in the same sacrament identically and really by His own bodily presence. 4. If a bishop or priest exist in mortal sin, he does not ordain, does not consecrate, does not consecrate, does not baptize. 5. It is not founded in the Gospel that Christ ordained the Mass. 6.
