AGRICOLA, PELAGIAN. - Known only from Prospero di Aquitania, who says (Chronicon, ad a. 429: PL 51, 594): “A., a Pelagian, son of the Pelagian bishop Severiano, corrupted the Church of Great Britain with his errors. Pope Celestino sent there St. Germano di Auxerre, who, having confounded the heretics, brought the Britanni back to the Catholic faith.” Caspari wished to attribute to this same A. a treatise De divitiis and five letters by an unknown Pelagian author, which provide us with a good knowledge of Pelagian morality.
