ALBANI, SCIPIONE. — A physician of great renown, born in Milan in the 16th century, died on 24 September 1604. Ordained a priest, he became a canon of the collegiate church of Santa Maria della Scala in Milan, and later an apostolic protonotary. He wrote several epigrams and the life of St Jerome Emiliani (Venice 1600, Milan 1603).
