ALBANI, SCIPIONE. — A physician of great renown, b. in Milan in the 16th century, d. on 24 September 1604. Ordained a priest, he was a canon of the collegiate church of S. Maria della Scala in Milan, and subsequently an apostolic protonotary. He wrote several epigrams and the life of s. Girolamo Miani (Venice 1600, Milan 1603).
