CLAUDIO CASCIOLINI. — Musician, born in Rome in 1670, died there circa 1740. A singer and choirmaster in the chapel of S. Lorenzo in Damaso in Rome, he composed various masses, psalms, hymns, motets, etc., some of which were published by "Musica sacra" of Milan and by F. Pustet (Regensburg), while others remain in manuscript in the Vatican Library.
