DAL MONTE, BARTOLOMEO. — Bolognese priest, born in Bologna on 12 November 1726, died there on 26 December 1778. A highly sought-after missionary, famous throughout Italy.

He preached more than 300 missions, admired by all for his fervor, his humility, and his graciousness in conversation. He published several short works, which were later also published together as follows: Gesù al cuore del sacerdote secolare e regolare (in Rome and Bologna, 1775).
