DAL MONTE, Bartolomeo. — A Bolognese priest, born in Bologna on 12 Nov. 1726, died there on 26 Dec. 1778. A highly sought-after missionary, renowned throughout Italy.
He preached over 300 missions, admired by all for his fervor, humility, and grace in conversation. He published some small works, which were later collected and published as follows: Gesù al cuore del sacerdote secolare e regolare (in Rome and Bologna, 1775).
