Pentecostarion

PENTECOSTARION. - Liturgical book of the Byzantine rite, which contains the proper parts of the Divine Office for the Easter season, that is, from Easter day until the 1st Sunday after Pentecost, called All Saints. In the ancient Slavonic editions, and still today among the Ruthenians, the book opens with Palm Sunday. There is no study on the history of the P. Editio princeps, in Greek: Venice 1544.
