REVUE AUGUSTINIENNE. – Monthly journal of the Augustinians of the Assumption, published in Paris from 15 March 1902 to 15 December 1910, in 2 annual volumes.
Written predominantly by the Assumptionist professors of Louvain, the journal soon succeeded in gaining a large readership not only in France but also abroad, ensuring, within the great spiritual family of s. Agostino, the presence of Catholic thought in modern life and addressing the problems posed by philosophy, theology, morality, literature, and Christian life, history, and art. For each of these subjects, a well-documented Bulletin recalled each month the Church’s doctrine and judgment concerning the ideas and events of the contemporary world. The issue concluded with the section listing noteworthy articles, in which a large number of French and foreign journals were analyzed.
