REVUE AUGUSTINIENNE. - Monthly review of the Augustinians of the Assumption, published in Paris from March 15, 1902 to Dec. 15, 1910, in 2 annual volumes.
Edited predominantly by the Assumptionist professors of Louvain, the review quickly succeeded in winning a large readership not only in France but also abroad, ensuring within the great spiritual family of St. Augustine the presence of Catholic thought in modern life and dealing with the problems posed by philosophy, theology, morals, literature, life, history and Christian art. For each of these subjects, a well-documented Bulletin recalled, every month, the doctrine and judgment of the Church in the ideas and events of the contemporary world. The issue ended with the column of selected articles, in which French and foreign reviews were analyzed in great number.
