REVUE AUGUSTINIENNE. - A monthly review of the Augustinians of the Assumption, published in Paris from 15 March 1902 to 15 December 1910, in 2 annual volumes.
Edited mainly by the Assumptionist professors of Louvain, the review quickly won a wide readership not only in France but also abroad, ensuring within the great spiritual family of St Augustine the presence of Catholic thought in modern life and addressing the problems raised by philosophy, theology, morals, literature, life, Christian history and art. For each of these topics, a bulletin document recalled each month the doctrine and judgment of the Church regarding the ideas and events of the contemporary world. The issue concluded with a section of notable articles, which included extensive analyses of French and foreign journals.
