Agostini, Bonifacio

AGOSTINI, BONIFACIO. - Born at Montolmo (Marche), died in 1698. Having entered the Order of Friars Minor Conventual, he was entrusted with the teaching of theology at Cesena, Viterbo, Florence and, for 18 years, at Rome, in the college of St. Bonaventure. He published, dedicating it to Pope Innocent XII, Serafici s. Bonaventura Ecclesiae Doctoris super quatuor sententiarum libros Theologia Juris et Facti in summam redacta... tomus primus (Rome 1696). The work was to have comprised several volumes: publication stopped at the first because of the author's sudden death.
