AGOSTINI, BONIFACIO. — Born at Montolmo (Marche), died in 1698. Having entered the Order of Conventual Friars Minor, he was entrusted with teaching theology at Cesena, Viterbo, Florence, and, for 18 years, in Rome, at the college of s. Bonaventura. He published, dedicating it to Pope Innocent XII, Serafici s. Bonaventura Ecclesiae Doctoris super quatuor sententiarum libros Theologia Juris et Facti in summam redacta... tomus primus (Rome 1696). The work was intended to comprise several volumes: publication stopped with the first because of the author’s sudden death.
