BACHENSTEIN, JOHANN von. - Archdeacon of Zagreb, who lived in the 15th century. He took an important part in the Council of Basel, where he went in 1432 as procurator of the bishops of Zagreb and Cinquechiese. He received from the Council many important assignments to PopeEugene IV and other political figures. He was a referendary in the trial against Eugene IV, chaplain of the antipope Felix V and of Frederick III.
