BONILLI, PIETRO. – Priest, b. at San Lorenzo di Trevi on 15 March 1841, d. at Spoleto on 5 January 1935. For thirty-five years he was parish priest at Cannaiola, then penitentiary canon at Spoleto. Having joined the Society of the Missionaries of the Holy Family, he promoted common life among the clergy, the association of Christian families, and the apostolate of the good press. He founded the Nazareno orphanage, the institute of the same name for deaf-mute, blind, and orphaned girls, and, in 1888, the institute of Holy Family (v.).
