BONILLI, PIETRO. - Priest, b. at San Lorenzo di Trevi on 15 March 1841, d. at Spoleto on 5 Jan. 1935. He was parish priest at Cannaiola for thirty-five years, then canon penitentiary at Spoleto. Having joined the Society of Missionaries of the Holy Family, he promoted common life among the clergy, the association of Christian families and the apostolate of the good press. He founded the Nazarene orphanage, the institute of the same name for deaf-mutes, the blind and orphans, and in 1888 the institute of the Sisters of the Holy Family (v.).
