DE MIRACULIS SANCTI STEPHANI. – Collection of miracles of s. Stefano published by a cleric of the church of Uzala in Africa and dedicated to the city’s bishop Evodio, a friend of s. Agostino. Some of the relics of s. Stefano, discovered in Jerusalem in 415, were brought to Africa, where they aroused fervent veneration through many miracles; Evodio, who shared s. Agostino’s enthusiasm for the cult of the protomartyr, had their accounts collected by one of his clerics.
