GABRIEL OF SAN VINCENZO. - Discalced Carmelite, philosopher and theologian, in the world Giovanni Antonio Beonio. Born at Lodi ca. 1609, died at Rome on 17 Sept. 1671. From 1629 he was a Carmelite at Milan, from 1652 professor of theology in the Seminary of the missions (Rome), esteemed and consulted by scholars and also by the supreme pontiffs.
