GABRIELE di SAN VINCENZO. – Discalced Carmelite, philosopher and theologian, in the world Giovanni Antonio Beonio. Born at Lodi ca. 1609, died at Rome on 17 September 1671. From 1629 he was a Carmelite at Milan; from 1652, professor of theology in the Seminary of the Missions (Rome), esteemed and consulted by scholars and also by the supreme pontiffs.
