SACRAMENTINES OF MARY HELP OF CHRISTIANS. – Founded at Dunkirk in 1849 by Matilde Maria de Sticker (Mother Maria Giuseppe di Gesù).
Approved that same year by Cardinal Régnier, Archbishop of Paris, they received from Pius IX the decree of praise in 1857. The definitive approval of the Institute and of the Constitutions dates from 1887. Consecrated to the adoration of the Most Holy Eucharist in constant thanksgiving, the sisters also devote themselves to preparing young people for their first Communion and to retreats for ladies. The Institute has four houses, one in Italy, one in Switzerland, and two in France, with 40 religious.
